PODCAST: Alfred Hitchcock's "STRANGERS ON A TRAIN"

Christian Garcia, Jay Jacobson, Farley Granger and Robert Walker in Alfred Hitchcock's "Strangers On a Train" podcast

I am thrilled to let you know I was asked to be a guest speaker on Christian Garcia's "That Ol' Gay Classic Cinema" podcast, in which he looks at gay elements in classic films. In the podcast, he and I discuss Alfred Hitchcock's "Strangers on a Train" (one of my favorites). The podcast runs 49 minutes, and you can listen for free on Spotify, by clicking the link below. Be sure to check it out!

I had never seen "Strangers on a Train" until I read this blog posting, and I'm not sure why I waited so long. It's a great movie with suspense, humor, and a homoerotic undertone tone. After watching the movie, I listened to the podcast, and now I'm going to watch the movie again.

Jay, your love and respect for classic cinema is reflected in your voice and writing! Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for letting me know! I so appreciate it. Introducing people to great classics is what this blog is truly about (as well as Christian's podcast), and I am overjoyed you watched it (and thrilled you want to watch it again)!

I've previously written about "Strangers on a Train", so if you haven't, you might want to also check out my post on it. It is one of my favorites! Here's the link:
