Legendary actor James Earl Jones died today at the age of 93. Over the course of approximately seventy years, Jones enjoyed success on stage and screen, becoming one of the few EGOT’s (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award winners). He had one of the most recognizable voices in the world, lending his voice to the “Star Wars” character “Darth Vader”, and “Mufasa” in the 1994 Walt Disney animated film “The Lion King”, among other famous voices. He'll be missed. James Earl Jones appeared in nearly 200 films and TV shows, and you can read more about his life an career in my post on the film in which he made his movie debut, “Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb”.
